Absolutely. Some users start with 50 B for one month, then maintain with 20 B or 10 B. Adjust according to your goals or practitioner guidance. †

Freeze‑drying technology allows us to concentrate LRDR™ powder to approximately 400 billion CFU per gram at time of manufacture, so one small capsule can deliver a full 10 or 20 or 50 billion. †

We recommend using 10 or 20 billion to ferment cultured dairy in very high counts.  While the 50 billion will work, it’s intended as a Intensive dose supplement when it’s not convenient to make yogurt-like cultured dairy, when travelling or periods of g.i. challenges. Our MyReuteri starter is specifically intended to make cultured dairy, in a convenient, easy-to-share sachet.

Beyond common temporary digestive changes, no serious adverse effects have been reported.  Nausea and stomach upset are relatively common when first introducing new probiotics to the body. Symptoms are usually temporary and part of the gut adjusting to the new bacterial balance.

In some instances, excessive humidity can cause the powder inside the capsule to clump together, however, formulation remains viable and effective.  If using to make cultured-dairy, use a spoon to gently break up the powder before mixing, or dissolve in warm dairy mixture.  Be sure to keep the bottle tightly closed and keep the desiccant moisture-absorbing pack in the bottle, and store in the refrigerator.
